SEE YOU

When you see your future, don’t see yourself where you are now. See yourself thriving, walking confidently in your gifts, and being a light to others.

So many of us play small, unable to see ourselves as more because we can’t believe we are worthy. We are weighed down by strongholds, lies we told ourselves or lies others have spoken over us through their words and actions.

Some of us can’t accept ourselves unless others accept us first.

It can feel impossible to break free from these beliefs, especially when they’ve been repeated so often. But I want to remind you: those words, those labels, do not define you.

God does.

Stop believing that you deserve less or that you are only worthy when validated by others’ approval over your life.

Be the light.

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV)

I pray you come to a place where you can say the same as the apostle Paul:

“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.”

— 1 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NIV)

Allow God to rewrite your story. Stop giving others the red pen to edit your life. Accept the truth that only God’s opinion matters.

No matter what has been spoken over you, it does not define you. God’s plans are for your good. When you look to the future, trust that His vision for you is greater than what you see right now.

Be the light.
